Expression of Interest (EOI): How It Works
To be considered for a Subclass 189 or 190 visa, applicants must submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) through the Department of Home Affairs’ SkillSelect system. The EOI is not a visa application but an indication of your interest in applying for a skilled visa. Based on your EOI, you may be invited to apply for a visa if you meet the points threshold and other relevant criteria. Invitations are issued periodically, and higher-ranked applicants are prioritised.
